No need to apologize haddockd. If you see me using smileys or emoticons, that basically means something's not a big deal with me
I play XBC on LLE and ToS on HLE, so I can try out both backends. Even though I've already had extended play sessions on each, I'll play them both again just to verify. Later, I'll post my voltages, Dolphin settings, and anything else I can think of that might be useful.
Thanks Shonumi! Also, what mobo do you use?
So I tested LLE at stock and still got the static after around 90 mins. Specs/settings:
Auto on all voltages/llc/vrm's
Turbo off
auto multi (33x)
Build used: 3.5-1270
i5 2500k
Asus P8P67
GTX 570
8GB RAM
x-fi xtremegamer
seasonic x-850
Still yet to test HLE
I've got no other suggestions. Maybe can you create a video using fraps or just your phones video camera if it can demonstrate the problem clearly enough. Just record the part where it's started to crackle (not wanting a 2 hour video).
Sure. I will see about getting it up today if I can.
If the "issue" only occurs when the system is OCed than it is not a valid issue. Developers can't account for strange behavior on a user OCed system.
Then why on earth does nearly everyone on this forum recommend overclocking to get full speed? It is practically a requirement for most games. As I have said a dozen times (if not more) NO other apps, games, emulators or anything has sound issues except Dolphin. Besides I am not the only one with this problem
Anyways, skid I have the recordings (I took a few to show the progression) but of course they are a little large. What is the best way to get them to you? Also if you just need the audio, I can do that as well.

That's not true.
It's requirement for only few games, such as Last Story,SMG,Zelda TP maybe late in the game.
More then 90% of the games both for gc and wii will run fullspeed on stock i5 with correct settings
Mine still does it at stock, so obviously overclocking is not the universal cause. No idea why it fixes it for haddockd, unless it simply takes much longer to occur?
Let me do more testing lor. I only ran it for 2 hours. It HAS taken longer before but only once.
I will try to do some testing tomorrow night and report back.
rpglord, I suppose you are at least partially right since the new AX-HLE has removed the need for LLE in many games.
