I can't seem to get this working, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I do the following:
1. Open FIX94's autoboot dol file in dolphin
2. Once it loads 33% I tab out, change disc-->Wind Waker iso
3. Game loads fine, but no difference in aspect ratio to what I normally get with Dolphin's built in widescreen hack (the HUD is still squashed). Have tried all combinations of settings in dolphin's Graphics/Force AR/Widescreen Hack and Wii tab (don't think the latter would have any effect) to no avail
4. Note that when I try this method, it detects my old save file (previously mentioned you'd need to start over)
I have also tried getting the latest dol/elf/iso files through EmuCR, and upon loading it gives me a "Fatal DVD Error", after changing ISO and setting widescreen it throws out a few more errors but it loads, still no change in aspect ratio. Trying various iso/elf/dol from the google code repo, I get a range of errors and black screens at best. I'm running latest build 3.5-1501

The hack is only effective in the game itself, not in the menu .. The benefit using this code is, that objects are fully rendered. With Swiss-GC and Dolphin's widescreen-hack, things like grass, trees and people disappear once they are outside of the 4:3 field ..

I can live with the stretched HUD as long as the 4:3 pop-in is gone (I thought swiss fixed that).

To get none-streched HUD you could try to combine SwissGC with this AR-code ..
I never tested it on Wind Waker .. In some games SwissGC disables this widescreen-AR-code ..
Do you have any other GCN games you want to play in widescreen?

I only have WW, Mario Party and Mario Kart at the moment, and only have the desire to play WW right now, but I might pick up Mario Sunshine. Will try combining with swiss soon

vertigo142, there is a widescreen option in swiss that you have to enable before starting the game. Did you enable that option? Without it enabled, swiss won't do anything.

The full version make shadows bug on Smash Bros Melee, the old one works ok, but I think it's cool have two patchs.
I just found a way to keep your configuration, shadercache and cheat.
It might work with GC Ntsc games only: ( since the swiss.dol is modded to work with Ntsc games only )
1st) Open dolphin and select the game that you want use swiss, for example Super Smash Bros Melee, load the game for 5 seconds and then press "Stop" on dolphin to close the game. ( default hotkey to stop emulation is Esc ) don't close dolphin ok.
2nd) Open the "swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol" ( File -> Open or Ctrl+O )
3rd) Once it loads 33% tab out, change disc-->Super Smash Bros Melee.
Note: The auto swiss will always use the ini of the last game loaded ok.
Enjoy.
