The video shows every single button I am pressing. That was the entire point of providing that video.
I converted it into a gif. Definitive proof I have moved the d-pad left and right many times
you haven't loaded the games dol file for swiss to apply settings to. use dolphin to switch discs to game you want to play, then load it with swiss. Swiss will show you the game's banner, press x to change settings for the game and then save and exit. you cannot set it in the global settings of swiss.
this would work for my cumputer yay
Hey guys, I have no idea why I never had that idea before lol, great discovery! However, I personally find the way a bit complicated so I just modded swiss a bit to autoboot the game with widescreen hack:
swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol
The usage is easy, just open up the dol, wait till it says dvd is initing 33%, then just switch the disc to the one you wanna load and wait till the game is up and running

BTW if anybody is interested in my modifcations:
swiss_auto.patch

Widescreen Hack (Swiss) 16:9

Hi, I found this post searching the net the way to force widescreen mode in Dolphin but without the bugs that this added to the sides in games like twlight princess in areas of water or reflections, are these faults graphics.
I followed your post and in my case, with Dolphin 3.0, the zelda twilight princess and forcing NTSC widescreen mode with swiis, I have not managed to eliminate these bugs on the sides when water areas or highlighted, is the same.
I like to think I'm doing something wrong. But use the swiss-0.3-R174, specifically by swiss.dol both as swiss-compressed.dol then indicáis cd change in the post, apply patches and games start, but it is as if these patches will not work, even I am unable to see the progressive mode (although dolphin leaves force). when I see the icon for the iso and configuration.
I'm still doing tests to help me find a way to play Zelda Twilight Princess NTSC widescreen, but if you could help me I will be eternally grateful.
PS: I use both. Iso and gcm, GCZ
Greetings.

try again using the latest revision of swiss, latest being r214 which can be found compiled at emucr.com
try FIX94's "swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol"
it works well
Thank´s, i have used "
swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol " with dolphin 3.0, it runs zelda TP in widesceen mode without any glitches and it runs well.
But i have another question about swiss compatibility with other dolphin´s versions.
For example if i try run
swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol over Dolphin release (Dolphin-r6505)... i can´t run any game, because the emulator crashes when swiis is patching the game.
¿is it possible do a permanent patched iso with swiis modifications?
¿can permanently patch an iso with swiis options?
I've been searching the net, but can not find anything.
It could also support time and there were no changes many "iso" during emulation, especially multi cd games.
What I want is to start my iso zelda tp with swiss_dolphin_autoboot.dol for example and thus have my zelda iso patched all versions of Dolphin.
I would like create swiis custom "dot", but i have no idea how do it.
PD: Please, excuse me, my english is horrible but, i wish join the dolphin community.
Metroid Prime it´s awesome game in widescreen mode.
Greetings.
Take this
Both PAL and NTSC versions are inside!
Code:
http://www16.zippyshare.com/v/92237115/file.html
Make sure u load correct region for the game u wish to play,if you choose different region save files wont load!
NTSC swiss doesn't exit, this one is patched to force the region
its custom made homebrew with swiss
unpack/copy to your games folder and then
enable "MMU SPEED HACK" for the swiss iso in game list of dolphin
boot it (regular double click from game list),swap disc to MGS ,load ,enable force widescreen
CHOOSE
ERSPECTIVE ,Not YES in settings and run the game
("perspective" actually is good ws for the game,"yes" will break a lot of graphics in game)
this is the only way i found to force mmu dependable games to run
because swiss bypass the regular "iso hacks routine" ,unless its started with them ,hence this homebrew with it hacks enabled in properties
i wasn't able to make a single homebrew with it because it also skips loading hacks from ini
You can also use the same for any other game,TP Zelda example, which requires hack for h.field in order to work somewhat ok.
The Big downside of doing it this way is the need to copy paste configs (hacks/cheats/ each time u want to play different game into this
if someone knows better way to actually make homebrew with swiss for dolphin to load which wont bypass hacks ,please post

Dios Mios 2.10's Widescreen hack also fixes a lot of stuff in GameCube Zelda Games that Dolphin's Widescreen hack doesn't.
