At this point, these two entries seem to be necessary to have no issues with this game (these are needed for the shrimp shuffle and those microbe levels):
Would be great if these could make it into the default ini for the game.
[Video_Settings]
UseXFB = True

[Video_Hacks]
EFBToTextureEnable = False
Oh, since the implementation of Hybrid XFB, the ini settings above are no longer needed; the game is now perfect (apart from that tiny black line in Shrimp Shuffle) at default settings Big Grin

There is actually no black line in Shrimp Shuffle with the default settings. It only shows up if you're using graphics enhancements Wink

I don't see how Hybrid XFB makes those INI settings unnecessary, though... Micro-Row still seems to require EFB to RAM for me, and Immediately Present XFB has the same problems as XFB Disabled. Though there is the advantage that Immediately Present XFB isn't on by default.
Whoops, sorry, I must have mixed something up; you're right, Micro-Row still needs EFB2RAM (sooo maybe this should be in the default ini for the game?).
Thast black line in Shrimp Shuffle (and also in the menus of Mario Kart Wii, btw) seem to have gone, even with graphics enhancements; dunno which commit did this Smile
For Micro-Row to work, one still needs to put this into one's custom ini file for the game:
[Video_Hacks]
EFBToTextureEnable = False

It should be, but we've generally been bad about implementing these INI updates. There are at least 81 titles that need EFB2RAM set, and a wide array of other required INI updates. Probably a good opportunity for folks that want to assist with Dolphin's development, but may not have the coding gumption for other assistance.
I was trying to upload Wii Save Files From GameFAQs (USA/JAP) and The Tech Game (USA).

When I downloaded the save file, it was a .bin file for Dolphin to read. So I clicked on "Tools" then "Import Wii Save" and then clicked on the .bin file I downloaded. When I booted up the game, the game said that the file was corrupted and prompted me to delete it or I was forced back to the Wii Menu. (GameFAQs)

I then tried downloading the one from The Tech Game. It came in a .zip file so I unzipped it with the .bin file. The same thing happened. Corrupted file.

I also tried to download another save file (GameFAQs) for Minna no Rhythm Tengoku which I made sure both were Japanese, it said the same thing as well but in Japanese.

I should also note the following :
The roms I'm using are .gcz / dolphin compacted files
I did not fully delete the data in the Wii Save File
(Not sure if relevant) : The banner on the japanese rom I have is corrupted.

i hope i’m in the right place for this.. i’ve been having a huge issue where theres major slowdown in some areas of the game, i’ve fiddled with some settings but i can never seem to get it to fully go away. these areas dont affect all parts of the game, some running at a perfect 60fps, but some are slowed down so much its extremely difficult to even get an ok. these games are;
- monkey watch
- flockstep (moreso when theres more birds on the screen)
- built to scale (specifically when you have to press a&b together)
- air rally
- shrimp shuffle (this has a bunch of other issues aswell, probably discussed elsewhere)
(and any remixes including these are usually affected at their part)
and probably more games, that i haven’t been able to reach so far because of it.

my computer specs are:
Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Processor/CPU: AMD A4-9125 RADEON R3 2.30GHz 4 cores
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon R3
Memory/RAM: 4GB Samsung 1866MHz
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-12716

i’m not sure whats causing this, like specific sound effects or its just generally my computer not being good enough :/
@_megatron88:
Your computer is rather slow if I see that correctly. This game might not look like it but it actually needs a rather fast computer for full speed, at least to not get glitches in a few 'levels'. You could try disabling the taxing settings and see how well it works.
Try editing the game ini by right-clicking game, then properties, then under game config switch to editor, and then under User Config paste EFBToTextureEnable = True

unfortunately didn’t do anything for me, i’m guessing it is my laptop and there’s not so much i can do about that. thank you for trying though, and let me know if there’s anything else i could do.
