I'm having trouble with Micro-row on the latest dev version (5.0-282). Even with XFB set to Virtual, as instructed, this mini-game in particular is still showing me a frozen screen of the microbes.
At least, the option stopped the flickering and terrible audio lag, even though Dolphin said the game is running at 60FPS.
Any ideas to solve the frozen screen?

Do you have "Store EFB copies to Texture Only" checked? If so, disable it.

That solved the frozen screen on Micro-Row. As for Shrimp Shuffle, i had no problems running just with XFB set to Virtual.
I have just one more question. How do i put those settings to have effect only on this game? I have no idea how to edit the .ini file. Can someone help me with this?

This is my config for the game... right-click the game, then properties... then on the lower-left 'edit config'... then paste this in there:
[Video_Hacks]
EFBAccessEnable = True
EFBToTextureEnable = False
[Video_Settings]
UseXFB = True
UseRealXFB = False
[Video_Hacks]
EFBAccessEnable = True
EFBToTextureEnable = False
[Video_Settings]
UseXFB = True
UseRealXFB = False

Thanks a million, this game rocks!

I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I'm having a bit of a problem with the Japanese version of this game (Minna no Rhythm Tengoku).
I'm using a Mac, and it seems that none of the text is showing. Instead, it shows up as blank or as a question mark. This makes some games impossible to play, for example, the alarm clock endless game. If someone could help me fix this problem, that would be amazing.

Set the system language in Config > Wii to Japanese. (You don't have to change the language in Config > Interface, so you can still have Dolphin itself use another language like English if you want to.)

Or you can try setting the language to Japanese for just this game. I found this on the GameIni page:
Code:
Choosing the language of gamecube and wii games:
This option works since dolphin 5.0-2023 and won't work with the stable 5.0 release.
For gamecube games:
[Core]
GameCubeLanguage = (Choose a number and put it here for the language you want from the list below.)
0 (English or Japanese will be picked depending on the region of the console/game)
1 (German)
2 (French)
3 (Spanish)
4 (Italian)
5 (Dutch)
For Wii games:
[Wii]
Language = (Choose a number and put it here for the language you want from the list below)
0 (Japanese)
1 (English)
2 (German)
3 (French)
4 (Spanish)
5 (Italian)
6 (Dutch)
7 (Simplified Chinese)
8 (Traditional Chinese)
9 (Korean)Just use right-click on Minna no Rhythm Tengoku and then Properties, then Edit Config and paste [Wii] Language=0, as written above. I haven't tested this yet, but since it's here, it should.
Cheers!^^
