Not sure where to put this thread, I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Trying to emulate the Wii version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

My problem is that the speed and frame rate of the game are very slow--I'm lucky if I can get it up to 50% speed, as it usually likes to settle around 35% Sad . I'd be very happy if I could get it up to at least around 75%, and I'd be ecstatic if I could get it up to 90%.

I've tried bumping up the frame skipping to 2, but that doesn't seem to help at all.
I was skimming across a couple of forums and a plugin was mentioned (DX9?), but I am unsure if that information is reliable, as the forums were a couple years old and the plugins are probably outdated. Undecided

Also, another small problem: the Wiimote cursor won't seem to go up into the top region of the game window/screen(when I have it in fullscreen mode). I'm sure I have to just mess with the Wiimote configuration, but I'm not exactly sure what to do there.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Your CPU is too slow for this game (very demanding)

Really? I thought my CPU was relatively good. Is there anything I can do to improve it? Or a way I can downgrade the game's resolution or something?
Your cpu might be a little bit slow for the game, but you should be getting minimum 75% not 30% speed.
Something alse is wrong, maybe that integrated gpu is simply not enough.
Too bad you are using laptop, and probably can't upgrade
You can always try these settings, just in case to see if there is any improvement

Okay, I set all of the configurations, etc. like the ones according to the pictures in the link, and it rarely dips below 40% now, so general speed is bumped 10%. Thanks!
Still not as fast as it should be on i3, so it's that integrated intel gpu which is the problem...

i3? I have an i5. Unless that's tecchy talk which I don't understand.

Also, if this is worth anything, I'm able to run games like Skyrim with no lag or anything.
Where are you in the game?
And list your exact settings (or screenshot them).

In the game, I'm around ten minutes in; running around town after the kids woke me up. (kind of stuck, trying to talk to more people)

My exact settings are the ones in this link: http://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/settings/
Are your video drivers up to date? That does seem a bit slow even with an HD 4000. Try d3d11.
