I play Resi Darkside Chronicles with EFB->RAM (So i dont have to use the Custom Projection Hack and get proper lightning).

When I play the game normally, the game will stutter when it needs to load certain areas or effects. These stutters are very frequent when you Shoot a light out, or a large explosion is present etc.

However once the level is complete I can replay the exact level over and the game will run flawlessly at its max 30FPS without any stutter.

I'm just wondering what causes this? Is there some form of on-going texture Cache that dolphin saves loaded textures into and uses them again.

My system spec if needed-
OC i5-2500K CPU @4.4GHZ
8GB RAM 1600Mhz
Geforce 580GTX
Windows 7 64-bit
This is an effect from one of the many caches in Dolphin.

You have already pointed out the texture cache. Some of the other caches that I can think of, off the top of my head are:

JIT Cache
Shader Cache
This is definitely being caused by the shader cache.
