sweet so right in my price range... hopefully a 7850 can pull it off then since it techincally is more powerful than a 650ti...

also would you recommend it over a Radeon card for Emulation. im not sure if dolphin favors nvidia cards or not. (PCSX2 does).
Yes I have non ti version, didn't have the money for ti

But I am very happy with it in both dolphin and pc games.
I agree with NV about 650ti boost, it's really good product.
If you don't have the money for 660 gtx, then 650ti BOOST is your best option ( don't mistake it for just 650ti )
I don't have much experience with Radeons, but I do know how they perform based on pc forums I frequent.
I would say 7870 or 7950 is similiar to 660 gtx
The thing is we don't really know how well GCN (and its drivers) map to dolphins code compared to kepler. I'm assuming just as well but I honestly have no idea. What we need is another GPU benchmark. Hopefully this time started by someone who doesn't turn out to be a power hungry maniac hellbent on the destruction of everything around him. And I'm far too lazy to do it.

ah well ill get the 7850 anyways cuz it comes with games. Hopefully itll compare to GTX 660.
im not even sure what kind of games would be good for benchmarking GPUs in dolphin.
and yeah some people can get pretty crazy with hardware reqs...
6870 is the requirement for 4xIR without AA (Mario Galaxy) . So 7850 will do

Thanks. considering a 7850 is basically a 6950. i feel good since i do play mario galaxy.
what would that be with AA. like 2x res and 4x aa?
2.5xIR + 4x SSAA (maybe up to 3xIR .With the most GPU intensive game : Mario Galaxy , i'm not so sure about 3xIR + 4xSSAA)
or
4XIR + 2x MSAA

yeah. i like DX11 mode for having better options for AA.
>MSAA
>better
Don't make me choke you.
haha well i get lost in all the different kinds of AA.
i just assumed DX11 being the more recent api had the better AA settings. apparently not xD
think we will see the SSAA in 11mode then in the future? or do they run with inferior AA to make coding easier atm?
