Fragile Dreams

Hi. Ive currently got dolphin for mac and have only got the option to use OpenGL. However I am trying to play Sonic Heroes and without using Direct3D 11 (which I don't think comes with Mac), the roads have black patchy spots that can seriously affect game play.

I've tried using Bootcamp to run Windows 7 on mac and it works great (Black patches disappear completely). However I've had issues with connecting my Classic Controller when on Bootcamp and have completely given up on doing so..... So my question is whether there is an alternative way around this issue to fix the black patches other than using Dolphin for PC and staying on Mac? Huh
This issue's literally the oldest open issue on the issue tracker: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/is...ail?id=267

My advice is to try a current development revision from http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ and poke around with the Internal Resolution in Graphics > Enhancements until it fixes it and looks good. There's also other advice on the issue tracker page that you can follow.
Yo, there's a specific workaround for OpenGL, see my entry in the Testing section of the Dolphin Wiki page: http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?ti...nic_Heroes
