Lol, I like how you didn't img tag that.

NaturalViolence Wrote:I'm going to assume that this was done with fractional IR?
Damn, I keep forgetting to mention it. But no, I forget to change the IR too, it was still at 4x.

NaturalViolence Wrote:Take two more. Using windowed mode at 1920 x 1200 and crop (or be 1337 and use fraps so that you don't have to crop).
I always use FRAPS. I don't need to crop as I have all those resolutions at my disposal. (Everything below 2560x1600)

NaturalViolence Wrote:Then we can make a fair comparison without your godly monitor getting in the way.
So a 1680x1050 res monitor is godly nowadays eh? Tongue

Alright, SSAA does work with the IR at Fractional. Why is it 'broken' at 4x? Can you give a throughly paragraphed explanation of it? Tongue
Now the images are identical.

Sorry. I forgot.

I thought your monitor was 2560 x 1600 since that was the resolution of your screenshots. But now that I know that you're using fraps it makes more sense.

*shrugs*

Maybe it's not fully fixed after all. This requires more testing. Can you do this again with 4x IR (at 1920 x 1200 with both images for comparison)?

Or this might be normal for a box filter. We'll see.
Sure.

Ok you're right it isn't doing jack shit at 4x IR. Interesting. Thanks.

But does OpenGL work? :p
It works. It just doesn't look as good (in my opinion):
NaturalViolence Wrote:In the openGL backend I see some kind of horrible blur being applied to the entire image which is reducing aliasing even further. Obviously it's using a more aggressive scaling filter
