ah i mustve went to the wrong site since it still said v1.7 and v1.6 lol

edit:

omg this release is amazing. it fixed all the problems i had with previous games.

namely pokemon stadium and pokemon snap. they are actually playable without graphic glitchs lol.
amazed at the progress they have come. Tongue

sadly their graphical plugin doesnt support hi-res textures like other plugins do...
Actually it does, but not the normal texture packs, you have to find them for jabos plugin
More glitchs for Starcraft 64 -> back to version 1.6 :/

Dafuq, it's a mess. JIT is fucked up, sound emulation is fucked up, GUI is fucked up.. This should have been tagged pre-beta or even alpha imo.
The only thing good I see about it is that it's open source now. That should bring the project back to life, there is still a good amount of people interested in N64 emulation.
If so, maybe time will fix the impressive amount of shit that has been done since the last 1.7 beta release.
I thought it was tagged as alpha?

Why? Don't tell me you can't afford $100 for 2nd PC for LAN play.
No , i only play campaign mode (love the storyline) , don't care about multiplayers
PC version has much better control (mouse instead of the emulated N64 con - Nrage plugin) , much better graphics but i don't want to install PC version (and it's not compatible with windows 8 btw)
Just run it in a VM? VirtualBox should perform nicely.
