Will it be possible for Dolphin to integrate the stuff+ improve on it and have N64 emulation possible within Dolphin?

N64 emulation has been horribly stagnant for more than 6 or 7 years.

Would love to finally have a catch all "3D era" nintendo emu.
To keep it simple, no.
*sadfaces. sadfaces everywhere*

Oh well, at least this means PJ64 itself will now have a chance to maybe be decent now.

Thanks.
If you're talking about better Virtual Console emulation, the answer's still no, most likely. Dolphin does emulate N64 games through Virtual Consoles, but the Virtual Consoles themselves are programs that tell the Wii how to emulate the N64. AFAIK, there's no code within Dolphin that specifically emulates the N64 or any of the other Virtual Consoles. Dolphin just runs the WAD file that has PPC code written for the Wii. More accurate Wii emulation would make for better Virtual Console emulation.

EDIT: Late response Dodgy

I meant more along the lines of dolphin having a whole separate system embedded for emulating n64 with like a separate settings section etc. Kind of like borg hivemind just smashing it into dolphin and then making it unshitty.

I guess it doesn't matter. I just like the way dolphin team has approached their emulator and wish people that dedicated and onto it could give n64 emulation the same treatment.

But, like I said, Project64 having it's source open now is a great start.

Ah, that's what you meant. Believe it or not, but you're actually not the first person to ask if Dolphin would directly emulate more Nintendo systems (even excluding all those people asking for WiiU emulation) :p

I hear N64 emulation is beastly from a developer perspective, but maybe it'll get the love (and documentation) it needs to grow. I mean, just look what happened when Dolphin was open-sourced. Personally, I'm hoping either PJ64 gets ported to Linux or Mupen64Plus can take advantage of some of its concepts.
Pj64's source wasn't released, it was leaked. We couldn't touch it if we wanted to (which we don't).
1.6's source was leaked. 2.0's source is official and real despite the April Fools correlation.
Ohhhhhh, i didn't see that!
When I saw it I was so sure this was a April fools joke, I didn't think after all this time Zilmar would finally listen to reason.
