Anyone want to tell me why cheats don't work? I went into Super Mario Sunshine and activated the Infinite Hover cheat. Dolphin confirmed for me with yellow writing that the cheat was activated when the game loaded, yet my hover is still not infinite and it made no difference. I tried other cheats and none of them work. How do I make them work??

Did you remember to turn on "Enable Cheats"?
Yes I turned on enable cheats. Its not that some of them don't work... its that none of them work..... I am using the cheats that came with the game
the cheats might be for a Different version of the game you have.
The cheat list is embedded into the ISO which contains the game
