1. You don't have any posts in this thread (prior to this one). Randomly hijacking a thread to talk about a post you made in another thread that you didn't even bother to quote or link is extremely confusing. Please try to avoid this in the future.
2. Reduced performance has nothing to do with increased cpu utilization in this case. Prior to this post nobody said anything about slowdowns. Once again this subject is from another thread and seems completely random when placed in this thread.
Moreover fade2black001 never mentioned he had obtained a lower performance. He just noticed his CPU utilization had increased

My performance did not change at all. Its the same with or without it. So might as well keep it off.

I know about that thread (as should have been obvious from the way I phrased my post) because I had to look through your post history to figure out what the hell you were talking about. Something that nobody should ever have to do.

You basically came into a random thread where the topic at hand had nothing to do with dolphins performance and said "Hey guys dolphin has become slow lately".
I actually had an edit to that post you just quoted, but it didn't go through. I was only trying to help out. I figured that since he was having high CPU usage, that his performance was also affected. And for the record, I did read the entire first post AND your post. I never skip out on that. I know you guys don't know me and probably just see me as another newcomer causing trouble, but I had good intentions with my post. I have no idea why I'm being talked to this way on an emulation forum, but I am not one of your newcomers trying to cause trouble. I ACTUALLY had a reason for posting. One shouldn't be judged based on his or her own wrong judgement. I thought I had a similar problem to his, and that's that. I really see no reason to go any further with this as I was only doing what I thought would help. I apologize for any confusion on my end, but you guys should really try to understand what a person's intentions may have been before treating someone like they are breaking rules or something. In my experiences, higher CPU usage tends to slow things down. So in my head high CPU usage = some performance hit. I know you guys don't know me well here, but on several other forums I am well respected for my helpful nature and the fact that I try to follow all rules as best as I can. I've even been told by mods on the sites themselves that I am a very kind and polite person. So yeah, please don't treat me like that. I meant no harm. Anyways, can we please get back on topic?

Sometimes this is true, it depends on the context. However when reading the thread you should have learned that his problem was caused and fixed by changing the openMP setting and had nothing to do with recent builds affecting performance. You also should have read that this was perfectly normal. This is why I was convinced when I read your post that you couldn't have simply been misunderstanding the thread conversation. Then I had to look at your post history to figure out why you even brought up the topic. Sure enough the last thread you made was about the random topic that you had just raised and had not received much attention. This set off the obvious alarm bells and convinced me that you were just trying to plug this other thread for answers by hijacking other threads. I see it all the time and it pisses me off to no end. When I see people doing that I tend to treat them poorly for obvious reasons. This was clearly a misunderstanding and you are not the asshole I assumed you to be. However I am still surprised that you did not interpret the thread context correctly as to me the posts seem quite clear.

Off-topic:
For the record I did see your thread and I will respond to it when I have time. Likely tomorrow. I'm warning you now that you're not going to like what I have to say since I do doubt the validity of your claim. I looked at the source code changes for the revisions that you listed and did not see anything that should produce any change in performance.

OPs question has already been resolved. So unless someone asks another related question, no.
It's okay NaturalViolence. Smile Don't sweat it. I apologize for causing any confusion. That was more or less my fault. People don't always interpret things the same way, but I know what you mean. Once again, I apologize for any confusion. Smile

Quick Edit: Also, another thing that affected my response was this "It might just be the build but I don't think I have ever seen Dolphin do this." I interpreted that as him saying that this was a new issue from recent builds that he hasn't seen before.
