This is nice. :D

But how do I know what to set it to? Trial and error?

And what if I want it "off" if it makes a game worse?
So far its been trial and error for me till I found a sweet number. It seemed for me to reset the emulator each time I changed the number. I would not really see a change until I reset it. So far 10 has been a sweet spot for me. As for it "off", I think the watchdog has always been in the emulator. There is no "off". You would just need to put it back to the default number which I have already forgotten lol.
Just tested this at 15 and niceee. I get 50 fps 4 player Brawl on Final Destination. BUT some graphics disappeared like when you hit someone those "slash" and "comic like spiky balloons" disappeared?

Very Nice though.

Can some dev point me to the specific source files that handle the fps counter both internal and in the windows title?

I'm planning to see if I can fix that horrible counter xx/60 (which is arbitrary and pointless) and see if I can place a dual counter for both cores working with low watchdog.
dolphin history in the making
