Well, it works wonders here, besides, i've been compiling all the revs i used since 3545 with this patch and all of them worked
Since it's a new build when you download it, make sure you create save data, I happened to press B when that menu popped up and the game didn't start, maybe that's your issue BARRIX
no the game just doesn't start -_-
Try making a clean extraction, leaving all the config on default first (You can copy the input and wiimote config files from the older rev if you want).
Also, some watchdog values might make some games not to boot.
Is Brawl the only game with this problem?
Things worked for me on both clean install and full config inherited from rev 3548.
Anybody else having problems with it?
ok so download a build thats perfect with ssbm and input the thing and use it only for the games that work...and also have a second one for other games. lol

thats the best god damn advice ive ever seen

lol i kno im aweseom! lol :

does this patch work for other games besides ssbb? ive tried it with zelda tp gamecube version, and the fps number is higher everywhere, but visually it looks to be the same speed it always was.
Trial and error, some games will gain more speed (not only fps, but actual speed) others will run worse.
(Tip: i read somewhere Tales of Symphonia 2 gets a boost as well)
Any chance of a 32bit patched revision?
