yes recompile plz . I cant wait for the SVN guys to take a look at it.
ps . ya u cant tell the difference from 30fps to 40 but the speed of the game wont be 100% till its 60fps.
The idea above is great, also hello to everyone, my first post here. Having the ability to chose the value itself in GUI interface would be much nicer and it should be added to future revisions.
does this help fix the problem of same fps different speed problem we get on newer rev's
could anyone upload a compiled dolphin rev with this patch already installed
I guess they'll include this patch in the next build?
Becouse i think we can wni fps with it :p

Applying a patch i made (pure copypasta and edit from the framelimiter), I added a config for FAKE_GP_WATCHDOG_VALUE divider, which is by default (without patch), 60.
I tested Super Smash Bros Brawl setting the watchdog config to 15 and compared it with 60.
How it looks:
The results.
Watchdog divider set to 60 (default for unpatched)
Now set to 15
The patch is zipped in the attachments.
Also, the watchdog config might require a Dolphin restart in order to take effect.
Ok, first here's the compiled x64 build 3857 with watchdog patch :
DOWNLOAD 3857 x64 with WD Patch
Secondly I'd like to ask, why do we have to set a value for watchdog. Wouldn't setting it to 1 just do the deal? Maybe we can make the value dynamicly calculated?
thank you but smash bros brawl doesn't work on it

(i've just tried it)
im not in my pc to test it but if it really help this should be in the original builds i hope
What exactley does watch dog do?? does it up fps or improve emulation quality?? idk just kidna confused i guess...and how exactly would you put it into an older build of ohhh say SVN R 1546??
I'll try that 3857, as far as I know, it works on 3851.
This specific patch can only be applied to revisions 345x and later.
In revs 3396 and previous, the watchdog was set by default to 15, so there was no need to fix anything here.
I don't know the effects of setting the watchdog to 1, I just placed many random values for testing purposes.
Do you think you could compile a 32 bit? It would be much appreciated
