It seems to not made much a difference in actual game speed for me, it just seems to artificially boost the framerate/counter. Then again the games I've tried so far are known to have unexplained slowdowns, my machine is already quite powerful.
Can anyone post what games this patch made a difference with in terms of actual game speed, and what setting was the watchdog set at?
So far I've tried Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC), so far this hasn't made a difference with those games.

Well, this was originally made as a boost for SSBB and A LOT of people have confirmed that it definitely works with that.
BUT, for those of us stuck with the NTSC version... well, we're outta luck.

-Monkeyball gamecube +20actual fps instant response now 20wd setting
-Capcom vs ????? +30 fps now playable perfect 20wd setting
-paper mario +15fps perfectly smooth 20wd setting
-Naruto Gamecube +5fps but min fps increased 15fps 20 wd setting
-zelda +10fps in some parts noticible. Min fps still low.
Mario kart Wii Perfect play now with patch. some guy have video on youtube.
-No change
-monkeyball wii.
-Mario galaxy . Menus are fast but not gameplay.
in the capcom vs whatever game you can set it to 1 and it runs at max speed. other games i dont recomend 1 because you get to see to much frame skiping. Remember watchdog said it only makes different on duelcore + systems

I'm trying to make the Watchdog config take effect in real time when running a game, so far so good, it's just a little bit ugly.
It should make things easier to try by not forcing the user to restart the emulator.
Realtime switching is done, be careful with it
thanks I'm finally playing games again cuz of this Ive tried
Resident evil zero = im back to full speed by setting to 15
tales of symphonia 2 = well the game works fine except its rather still slow on the newer rev but still getting 45-50 fps instead of 30-35 is a great improvement on 15
tales of symphonia = back to normal on 15
anybody else got better results

Two questions......
1.anyways u seem to know ur way around C++ and game mechanics , how much exacly do you know?
enough to actually get into it and help these guys supercharge the emulator? if so then I think you should.
2. You first said that you didnt expect this watch dog patch to work on
any other game right ,But it actually did .Making some unplayable games playable.
Does the Fact that it did and The Fact that you didnt think it Would ,
give you A Hint of code the Emulator might need? or give you an idea of something
the Emu might be doing wrong or should do different?
setting watchdog to 5 game me pretty decent fps in punch out.
create a patch to add unlimited jit cache to options too.
