Hello people of the internet,

i have the new Wii-Remote Controller and can't figure out how to make em work. I bought an cheap Bluetooth USB dongle and attached it to my PC. I use the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack drivers for the stick which works fine. I can easily connect the controller with the toshiba bluetooth software BUT when i open Dolphin it says no bluetooth device found and that only the windows onboard software is supported.

Any ideas? Couldn't find a threat the the same problem...

Regards,
Marcel

Did you click on your Wiimote and press 1+2 to get the connection? Does your Wiimote blink before opening Dolphin?
Yes i click 1+2 when i connect it to the toshiba software. Does it still have to blink when i open Dolphin? I'll give it a try when i'm at home...

thx so far...

After clicking 1+2 your Wiimote blinks. Open Dolphin. Go into "Wiimote" and choose "Real Wiimote". Now there are two possibilities. Either your Wiimote rumbles and stop blinking, either it doesn't rumble then click "refresh"
Is it normal that Dolphin says: A supported bluetooth device could not be found. You must manually connect your wiimotes. ???

-.-

That hama bluetooth thing shoud work...

Try to connect or disconnect/reconnect when Dolphin asks you to do it.

Btw is your Wiimote an official one (from Nintendo)?

Yeah mine is a HAMA too and it works just fine
Hallo guys!

I'm having the same problem, but only in the new release.

I was using dolphin 3.5-364 for sometime and started playing Fragile Dreams, at some point in the game, it says that I must use the sounds from wiimote so I can find the source, but then it starts to say that the connection to the wiimote was lost and alt+f5 doesn't work at all. I googled and someone said to disable the transmission of data to the controller and this issue would stop. I've looked for that option everywhere in that said build, didn't find and thought that maybe the option appeared in some new release.

I downloaded the newest one (3.5-1060 x64 Win8 and Ubuntu 12.10) and my problems doubled:
- In Windows Dolphin says that no valid or known bluetooth device was found and that I should connect it manually, so I did through Bluesoleil and Toshiba Stack (win8 refuses to find my controller through default stack), but still, when I load the game and ALT+F5 the log shows "Wiimote 1 connected" followed by "Wiimote 1 disconnected".
- In Ubuntu, the default stack finds my controller, me happy till I load the game, when the OpenGL context is all messed up, flickering coloured lines depending on the screen that supposedly should be there. Probably it's my driver that is causing the problem in this case.

Note: I found out that the Windows Stacks are calling my controller as HID Device in the control panel.

My main OS is Windows, so I would prefer that it worked in it rather than in the Linux.
My controller is probably not an original one, but like I said, it worked before and in linux, and it seems like that is the program that is refusing the controller because of the stacks, who are name my controller as "Generic HID Device" and Dolphin is ignoring it.

Any ideas would be welcome Smile
Thanks in advance
Okay i'll explain it a little more:

- The WiiController i use are the newest with Motion Plus: Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR
- I use an Hama Bluetooth Adapter which is installed via the Toshiba Stack Software (That worked without registry tricks)
- I tried version 3.0, 3.5 and the newest release and all say that i should use the microsoft standard bluetooth tool and that they can't find an compatible device
- The drivers in the bluetooth tool for the Controller seem to install correct (no error was given most of the time)

Anything i did wrong? This really is annoying.

Thanks for your help so far.

Regards,
Marcel
marcel504 : try the refresh button, not the Pair-up button (your wiimote is already paired with Toshibastack)
