hi, I noticed some games use 16/10 format (with black borders at the sides on a widescreen). I'm playing project zero 4, and the image is stretched in either 4/3 or 16/9. rather than playing on a stretched window, could a "force 16/10" option be added for fullscreen?
thanks guys
Try the "Crop" option in the misc section of "Advanced" tab, inside Graphics configuration window...
thanks, I tried the crop option but it doesn't work, I tried all the graphics options. is it supposed to work on full screen?
for the record, I don't play on a 16/10 screen. I have a 16/9 screen and try to play with black borders on the sides, to get the right aspect ratio on some games. maybe editing a ini file could be a quick fix?
Wii/GC games don't play at 16:10 IIRC

project zero 4 is definitely stretched at 16/9, and it definitely has black borders on videos captured from a wii. I measured the aspect ratio and it is definitely 16/10.
Yeah but the Wii outputs it at 16:9 which makes dolphin accurate.
Try setting dolphin to a 16:10 resolution + Crop

Satan. Stretching is a crime against graphics design.
I love stretching

I set the dolphin resolution at 1680*1050 (on a FHD screen) and did NOT activate crop, and it did the trick. there are black borders on each side of the screen, but the ratio is finally right. I tought other people would have noticed this, thanks for your help.
