Doesn't work on Pioneer DVR-112D!
I can confirm the LG GDR-8164B DOES work. I have personally used it to dump all my GC games no problem. Using rawdump 2.0 it even works over usb 2.0. If you're ever in doubt about the integrity of your dump compare the crc32/md5/sha-1 hashes with the database at
http://www.redump.org .

Just get the file from the first post and try it out yourself, and post back if you could get it to work or not
Hi, joined just to post my list:
Lite-On DVD-ROM DH16D3S (Listed in RawDump as "ATAPI DVD D DH16D3S SP51") does not work.
Lite-On DVD±RW DL iHAS120 (Listed in RawDump as "ATAPI iHAS120 6 7L02") does not work.
LG BD-RE/HD DVD-ROM/DVD±RW DL GGW-H20L (Listed in RawDump as "ATAPI HL-DT-STBD-RE GGW-H20L V1.05") does not work.
Zero for three for me.
Any idea whether a 'LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter' will work?
Is it safe to test it without ruining the game or disc drive?
EDIT: Just read a few posts up, will try it out and report back.
EDIT2: It doesn't work. Although it comes up as an 'Otariac' drive or something in 'rawdump'.
Has anyone tried just ripping an iso from the dvd drive with the wii/gc game in it?
I've used MagicISO in the past, and ripped an iso from the wii disc, and that seemed to work?
Can't be sure if that works now, i use the HBC now, much easier.
