It looks like it's not supported.
But if it's not supported... how in the heck can I dump Wii/GC games to Dolphin??? (I tried CleanRip, but I kept getting constant "Write Error!" messages, and I can't even register for the help forum at GC-Forever to ask anybody. I think my SD card might be too small?)
So if I can't dump games without the Wii because of an unsupported drive, and if I can't dump games via Homebrew Channel and an SD card... what do I do?? How do I use Dolphin without downloading games illegally? (I'm very frustrated right now.)
Does your SD card have a lock switch on it?
So because I'm a big dummy, I never noticed in all the 7+ years I've owned a Wii that it has USB ports in the back. Apparently my game dump kept failing because there wasn't enough space on the SD card. So I tried a USB flash drive instead, and everything seems to be working well.
@ED2: No idea, but I guess it doesn't matter now.

Sigh... I guess friidump's resume function doesn't have any kind of error handling. It keeps crashing in every mode, and I've finally made it to 99%, but my ISO is now larger than the confirmed size on redump.org, so I guess I've wasted a day accomplishing nothing.

How picky is RawDump about CD/DVD drives? The readme is somewhat terrifying in how specific it is about asking for a specific model of CD drive that I don't have.
(my current drive is a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24LS70.)
RawDump sounds terribly picky because it is. Only certain drives can be exploited due to their firmware. You can give it a shot, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work.
It isn't particularly scary, as the drives are still easy to find on eBay at low prices. You will have to buy one of the compatible drives specifically for dumping your games, though, unless you already have a GC or Wii configured for ripping. The main problem is that most of the drives use IDE, not SATA, so you may not be able to connect one to a newer motherboard without an adapter. There are a few USB models that work, though, if you don't want to go that route (but they're harder to find and more expensive than the IDE drives).
Add PLDS DVD-RW DU8A5SH to the list of non supported drives :/ I keep getting this error.

I just want a New Super Mario Bros. Wii ISO. CleanRip divided it into 2 parts, and idk how to combine them without making Dolphin not recognize the iso files. I have the actual disc, any suggestions? :/
You have to combine the pieces from the command line like so:
Code:
copy \b name_of_part_1 name_of_part_2 name_of_result
Or better yet, if you're CMD illiterate, just grab a large enough USB drive formatted as NTFS and CleanRip won't need to use chunks.

It's not that I'm CMD illiterate, it's just that when I tried to combine the files, the resulting ISO file wasn't recognized by Dolphin :/ But I'll give the new command a shot.
Oh, I have an External Hard Drive that I'll use, thanks!

Why doesn't it work? After changing the directory, I put in the command you said, but it didn't work. Putting quotes around the file names did no good either :/
EDIT EDIT: I put a foward slash by accident xD But now it says that it can't find the file specified :/
