So the question about if you don't own a wii but own a game and play it on dolphin has come up. I talked it over with a few people and her is how it works. If you use LLEDSP with the roms from a wii and don't own one. It's Illegal. If you bought a game from the store dumped it and use the HLEDSP. Then your good. Also, if you use the wii file system or menu then that has to come for a wii you own or its Illegal. So yes, you don't have to own a Wii to use dolphin Legally.

Mod your Wii so it is able to run a homebrew disc dumper. Dump with your choice of dumper.
