Anyone know of an external drive I can buy in the UK that would work? I'm not sure I am confident enough in my ability to install an internal drive or not.
on mine it says "Error!! You might have a faulty drive!!"
my drive is hp CDDVDW TS-L633N 0300
It's not supported.
So my disc drive is not supported.
It's a TSST CDDVDW TS-L633J which was not on your list.

I don't have a pc with SD card support, so what do I do now? I just want to play my copy of Monster Hunter Tri on the PC, because I hate the Wiimote controls and I'm not buying a stupid pro controller.
Do you have a Wii? Do you have a friend who has a Wii?

I do have a Wii
That's good Wink

You're able to dump your games with a homebrew app called CleanRip. You just have to boot the boot.dol of the app through Wilbrand or another exploit.
Is there a tutorial for this sort of thing?

I'm sorry I'm very new, I found this program today, and just an hour ago learned this process was called "dumping" and not "ripping"

This wiki is well-known concerning homebrew. Take a look at this site, i'm sure, there is a kind of tutorial how to load homebrew apps.
Thank you very much
