I finally have all my drivers back
mkay back to dolphin
I'll do what you said and of course tell you the results
Edit: Ok now i have 2 profiles. The FORCE profile have GPU clock, memory clock and core voltage always at max and the normal profile... which is normal.
But the problem was not coming from here because even with all clocks to max the activity when running dolphin is like when I have only the desktop (around 0% to 2%).
Performance in game aren't changed at all in Normal profile or FORCED profile so Dolphin really must be using something else than my graphic card... what do you think?
I'm totally lost and by the way dolphin is still proposing only 6800 series in "adapter" ===> I'm looking for a rope.
Some screenshots to prove that there is no difference between the 2 profiles:
FPS are the same with both but not stable at all 24-26
Ah, I somehow missed it, but your CPU is the bottleneck here.
Monster Hunter is a pretty CPU intensive game, and an AMD X3 455 at w/e clock won't be sufficient.
One way to verify that, is to set the IR to x4 and AF to x16(always set it to x16, there's no performance drop if you have a reasonable modern GPU).
That should put more load on the GPU and shouldn't lower your FPS as your GPU should be able to handle that easily.
In addition, you can hold down TAB to temporarily unlimit the FPS and see how high it goes. If it doesn't go any higher, then it's your CPU.
Thanks a lot for your help.
With 9xSSAA 3xIR and filtering x16 I have almost the same FPS (22-24)
The CPU load is around 70%
Is there any way to play Monster Hunter Tri with this CPU?
I never played Monster Hunter Tri on this computer with the old graphic card so i can't compare but for mario kart why is there a big difference like this?
The story is not clear yet, I'm going to investigate.
1st reason: I'm curious.
2nd reason: my sister is furious.
Monster Hunter Tri is the worst Monster Hunter ever created but it's a good way to wait for MH3Ultimate on WiiU which I'll buy DAY ONE
You might be able to get better performance using
build 6505 by Lectrode, which has specific patches applied to it for Monster Hunter. You can then press number 5, 6, 7, etc (not on numpad) to toggle the bloom and such.
What is your CPU clocked at right now? If you overclock, you'll definitely get better performance.
Oh, and set the Texture Cache back to fast and see if you gain some performance.
Important: Keep in mind however, that these old builds are not supported on the forums. So don't ask help about them here.

What did you play Mario Kart on before? On your Intel computer? If so, then yes, your Intel CPU is most likely much faster than the AMD CPU in your fathers PC. That's why there's such a big difference.
On my i7 2600k there is no problem with all supported games but on this computer with the X3 455 I was able to play mario kart pretty well and only the circuit with the golden statues was under 60FPS
Now it's under 60fps everywhere; that's strange.
I can't overclock this processor anymore, it's already at 3.45GHz instead of 3.3 and the fourth core is on. Maybe switching back to 3 cores could be better.
I'll try the build 6505
I don't know if I'll come back to this thread because every problem have been explained (except for the weird 6800 series adapter)
Thanks for your help again.
Edit: Just to let you know , i overclocked to almost 4GHz just to try and I had 30FPS in empty areas and 25 with monsters. Oh and of course a blue screen after 10min XD
AMD sucks
