Hi everyone
Recently i have bought a wiimote, a sensor bar, and a bluetooth dongle to try to use dolphin on my pc but im having some troubles...

I have bouth this particular items:

http://dx.com/p/super-mini-bluetooth-2-0-adapter-dongle-vista-compatible-11866
http://dx.com/p/remote-with-motionplus-silicone-sleeve-nunchuck-controller-set-for-wii-blue-2-x-aa-70788

Ive tried to conect the wiimote with bluesoleil and Bluetooth Toshiba Stack software, but neither of those seems to recognize the wiimote...
Just for the record, the bluetooth does recognize some other devices like my mobile phone.

Maybe this bluetooth is not able to conect a wiimote? Shoud I buy another one?
Thank for your time, and sorry if my english is not too good.... hope someone could help
Your Bluetooth dongle might be the cause of your issue indeed. Get a version 2.1, class 2 preferably.

You also have to know that you're likely to get some issues with your Wiimote since it's a 3r party one and not an official one
The second might work. Use Toshiba stack preferably (even if Bluesoleil is provided Tongue )
you bluetooth dongle may work, I have pratically the same (same package, and V2.0, the only difference is on my package there is no V1.2)

How do you try to connect you wiimote?
Ive tried pressing 1 and 2 buttons and also using the red switch wich is next to the batteries when the bluetooth software is searching devices... but i always get "unable to detect remote device" message. But like ive said, if i turn on the bluetooth on my mobile phone, it does recognize it.

The leds in the wiimote blinks and seem not to be damage, I think that the wiimote is ok, but i wouldnt like buy another bluetooth, and also not work :S

EDIT: In this topic http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-compatible-wii-hardware-list I have seen this:

A list of know sources to buy from that are reported working.

Wich seems to be the same.... So the bluetooth shoud be working? What can i do???
I have uninstall all the softwares, and download the broadcom software, but when i run the aplication it get stuck at "detect bluetooth device"( more than 5 mins).
When i try to conect with windows bluetooth software doesnt find it either
This is getting so anoying Sad
I feel your pain...I went through it for two solid days. Here are a couple of things to try. First, restart your computer if you didn't already do that. Many installations don't fully activate without a restart. Second, make sure your firewall or admin settings aren't blocking it from running. Allow it in firewall as an exception and run it as administrator. Hopefully that will help.

One more thing...make sure that you alter settings to automatic for any bluetooth apps. To do this go to the windows start menu and right click on computer and click on Manage (if you have Windows 7 this is where you find it...not sure about earlier or later versions of Windows) then click on services and applications, then services and scroll down and every bluetooth instance you see change the properties to automatic instead of manual. I had to do that long before I got to the point of finding a way to get the wiimote to work.
Ok, so here is the thing. A friend of mine has borrowed me a bt dongle, v2.1 this time, and it doesnt pair up either. So im almost sure the third party wiimote doesnt work.
Im getting a little tired of all of this, so im gonna buy an original wiimote....

My question right now is, the third party nunchuk could work with an original wiimote, or ill have to buy both.
Thank for all the efforts
