Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

The game will not save on versions 3.0 or 3.5. I have tried re-dumping the rom several times and have tried all kinds of configurations for dolphin but nothing solves the problem. All other games save but not Kirby Air Ride. Is this normal or is there something else I can do about it?
P.S. Is this the proper way to list my specs?
Windows 8 x64
Intel i5 2.5GHz
Intel HD Graphics 4000
8GB RAM

Describe the problem better.

I start up the game and do a race. When I get back to the main menu I see the yellow text saying "wrote to memory card A contents..." indicating that it saved my progress. I close the game and reopen it and it is like I had not done anything. It is as if the game didn't save but in the memory card manager the save file is present.
