I'm getting random freezing with hacked buffer upload enabled on -745. It was working fine in -738. When I get a chance Ill try to find out what revision it started in if you devs want. Then again maybe I shouldn't be using -745 yet.

Edit: Well I'm not sure what changed with my system but I can no longer use hacked buffer upload on any version. It will always crash usually within the first couple of min of game play.
We have recently fixed running issues with OS X.

We need people in OS X with various hardware configurations to try out this to find all the issues with GLSL.
First the biggest known issue on osx: there will be two windows. One is used for rendering, the second one is used for input. So for testing click on the one without content.

btw: any osx developer here? Or anyone who has osx and want to become a developer?
Post processing shaders have been fixed in -942 if you guys would want to test those as well.
I will test this tonight on OSX, and i am a developer but my knowledge of opengl is limited to a very basic 3d android game i made.

Edit: No graphical issues so far, but its is considerably slower for Super Mario Sunshine with and without hacked buffer. Its about a 2x speed difference.
Hi bzb95

Cool, our osx parts really need a developer. Don't worry, I will help eveywhere I can, specially with OpenGL issues. But our actual problems are much simpler. eg window creating :-)

Do you want to join us on #dolphin-emu on freenode?
Post proccessing shaders aren't working for me in -948 on Ubuntu 12.04 nvidia driver 310.32. Performance with hacked buffer upload is also not as great as it was with -746. In SMG at the begginning of the game after the first video when you are running up to the castle -746 with hacked buffer upload would maintain a constant 60 fps -948 has infrequent dips to the mid 40s. Compared to the latest master which drops to 30 and never gets higher than the mid 40s. This is all with 2.5x ir 16xq csaa and 16x af. Still the same system as before with a gtx 660.
Xalphenos, we merged from master in the last commits, maybe the performance drop is because of pref query merge, maybe because of anything else ...

What happens if you enable postprocessing? Is just the usual image rendered? Are there any shader compilation issues?
Nothing happens the usual image is rendered. I didn't notice and shader compilation errors I'll check when I get home this evening. I compiled the latest master 3.5-600 right before -948 and post processing shaders are working fine in it.

Edit: The only errors I saw where about portaudio and some sdl error. I'm not on the ubuntu side right now but it couldn't find a certain version of sdl so it used another instead. Post processing shaders are working fine in the latest builds for windows x64 so it has to be something on my side. I am still using glew 1.6 on ubuntu would that cause it?

I am moving this week and won't have internet hooked up till Tuesday after that I'll join you on IRC and take a look at the code.
