Try to enable the "hacked buffer" option in gfx->hacks. There is also a speedup for quad-cores if you enable the threaded driver: export __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1

Custom HD Textures did not load for SMG 1 ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-super-mario-galaxy-1-hires-texture-pack )
Donkey Kong Country 2, I kept getting "Wiimote Disconnected every 10 seconds". Would have to ALT + F5 all the time.
3.5-1056.

Are you saying Dolphin can now take advantage of quad core processors? Does this apply when using the D3D plugin as well? Is this now a standard feature? Please explain.

isamu, don't get too excited, it's not even part of Dolphin. It's just a flag for Nvidia's *Linux* drivers that happens to make Hacked Buffer Upload cause a speed increase. You already have this on Windows, it's labeled as "Threaded Optimizations" in the Nvidia drivers.
IIRC, degasus's full explanation was that these "threaded optimizations" let Nvidia's drivers use multiple threads to access this buffer we keep mentioning, and Hacked Buffer Upload stores the buffer in a way that's multithread-friendly.

Anyway, doesn't disconnect on the latest build.
SMG1 HD Textures ( HUD ), still lags/spikes every few seconds for some reason.

Hi,
I was absent last weeks, but apparently the problem is not solved, with the latest revision Dolphin is still lagging on my laptop... Also, when I open the graphics configuration panel during a game, the dolphin window becomes black and I have no way to test the options...
Also even if I set IR to 1x, the resolution in the dolphin window does not seem to take it into consideration. I the past, I was then going to the graphics configuration, moving a bit the IR, then coming back to 1x, and the window was back to IRx1... But now I can't...
Any idea?

Wow, I just tried this build and everything is so fast. It's almost like I can actually play Wii games now. There's a lot of random stuttering, though.
