Well, due to GLSL merge, nvidia driver thinks we are putting less stress on the GPU so it tends to think he doesn't need to clock itself to the max.
I'm hoping that that isn't the issue, but it sometimes happens to be.
Hope so too. In nvidia-settings, I put the GPU in Maximal performance, and in this case the temperature increases a lot. Do you know a way in linux to ensure that the GPU is not idle?
Well, since you confirmed that you changed it to maximal performance, that means that the GPU won't be hitting idle speeds. Issue must be elsewhere.
I don't know if it can be of any help, but I have a strange behaviour of the IR: I set IR=1x, but if I enlarge my window, the IR is increased. Then I go in the menu, chang IR from 2x and back to 1x, and the window finally get the right IR. It doesn't seem very normal...
I'm not sure if you have the correct understanding of what IR is. What are you referring to specifically when you say "the right IR"?
I mean that in the menu, when I use IR=1xNative, I see a pixelized image, but not if I have Auto.

I think he's trying to say the IR doesn't stay the same when you maximize the window. It remains inconsistent when changing the size of the window; I noticed this with the new master GIT builds. You set it to 2x IR while it's windowed and it looks like it isn't 2x but when you enter full screen, the IR looks as though it kicks in.

Default window size - not apparent
Stretched/maximized window - apparent
Tested the latest build, both on mac os and win7.
In opengl I face the same issues in both Mac OS and Win7.
Baldur's Gate is running at around 10 FPS, both win7 and OSX.
Disablid idle skipping gives me around 300VPS and sub-10 FPS on both.
The graphics card is clearly slowing it down on both parts, even at 1xIr and fastest config settings.
In dx11 mode i can run the game at full speed in 4x IR.

Also in 3.5 stable I can run the game at full speed in 4x IR.

Also latest builds ( i have not tried all, but somewhere after 1067) does disable my secondary screen in Mac OS when going full screen, earlier I could have stuff like a browser open on that screen while playing in full screen on my main monitor.

Thanks for clarifying the situation, it is indeed what I get...
Here's a screenshot comparison to show what he's talking about. Right now, the IR is set a 2x the native resolution. The first image is how it shouldn't look, the second is how it should look. In fact, when it looks aliased like that, it goes away simply by entering the GPU settings window and click "Okay". But the thing is, if it was set to 2x prior to launching the ISO image, it should always look like the first image and not the second. In fact, you shouldn't even have to bother opening up the GPU settings at all, and yet, it magically scales the resolution beyond the native. TL;DR, Dolphin is not scaling the IR correctly when loading a game even after choosing the right setting before loading the game.

The internal resolution is not scaling properly at all and needs to be looked at. If this is the wrong place, please redirect me.
