LLE needs a heavy CPU indeed. Your laptop won't support it. Your Phenom could.
If you want more details about LLE you can read this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-howto-getting-dsp-dumps-required-for-dsp-lle--23103

thank you very much unfortuntley my phenom has stopped working for some reason...Sad
You should buy the new ivy bridge Pentium for your desktop.

I really doubt that. The chances of a cpu breaking in less than 20 years is infinitesimally small (without ridiculous OCing of course). If your system isn't booting it is likely an issue with another part of the system (usually motherboard, power supply, video system, ram, or HDD, in that order from most likely to least likely). How do you know that it's the cpu that is faulty?

i wasnt saying it was the cpu i was trying to say that the desktop wasnt working and i haven't had the time to look into why it isnt working.
so thankfully i have found out that it was my power supply that was busted. thats alot less money than a CPU
hello everyone i know this may be a stupid questiong but is it possible i could run xenoblade
Laptop ? not a chance in a million
Desktop ? no one said it can't run but the game will not be enjoyable with your desktop . Even my laptop can't handle that game with latest Dolphin version so I hope you get the point
Try old version such as Dolphin 3.5 145 , my laptop can run XenoBlade well with that version but I doubt your CPU can do the same
You can try overclock your CPU to 3.2GHz or higher
Basically , any CPU that is slower than Phenom II x4 955 @ 3.2GHz is hopeless for demanding games such as Xenoblade , Pandora's tower
