Hi,
As You probably already know I'm trying to run some wii games on Dolphin. So far I've tried with "The Last Story" and "Xenoblade Chronicles". Yes, I know that those are quite demanding games when it comes to hardware, but still I believe my hardware should be good enough. I'm having drops to 7-10fps on every more complicated scene. Changing graphic preferences want do any good. Please let me know if it is config and/or hardware issue. In additional I can say that while looking on resource monitor I didn't found any memory, CPU or GPU shortage and I have enabled Dual Core future. Thanks for your help.

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 1090T 3.2GHz (Overclocked to 4.0GHz - running stable)
GPU: MSI GeForce 460GTX
RAM: Kingstone DDR3 1600MHz 8GB
System: Windows 8
No...
Your cpu is too slow. Sorry.

You're going to need something in category 1 to have any shot of running such demanding games at fullspeed: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dol...-hierarchy

I see. I'm not hardware specialist, so please correct me if I'm wrong; Intel Core i7 for example 3930K is vary alike in specification to AMD Phenom II 1090T. The same numbers of cores and freq(3.2), why is it in different category?
BTW. on Wiki page i found hardware tests for emulating Xenoblade Chronicles(http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?ti...es#Testing) and it says that on my hardware it should run with no problems. Maybe its not really hardware problem?

Read some benchmark ! You compare your CPU to 1000$ CPU ? It's obviously not even close
Dolphin is a dual core application . Dolphin will not use all 6 cores 8 core or whatever
The best benchmark for Dolphin is single threaded benchmark . I5 3570k is current gen Ivy Bridge , i7 3930k is last gen Sandy Bridge
i5 3570k outperform i7 3930k in single threaded benchmark -> i5 3570k run Dolphin faster
It isn't a $1000 CPU...
You're right . Somehow I mess the price with i7 3970X's

I think i get the point. Thanks for help. I guess its time for upgrade. Anyway forget CPU compering. What about testing on wiki page, it says that it would run on 30fps on hardware alike main . Well it may be just wrong or maybe it have something to do with my OS (Win 8 x64). Any tips?

He didn't say that. He said "the game works perfect". "Perfect" to him might mean "playable".

Btw he was using 3.0 that is slightly faster than 3.5 . You might wanna try this
