I wanted to play Super Smash Bros Melee so bad so I opened Dolphin 3.5, and I noticed that the graphics were all black and white, and I couldn't see anything. I tried using later 3.5 versions, but they crash with any backend I use instantly and crashes the program. Sad I used the x32 Dolphin 3.5 using Software renderer. Normally, it slows down the game, but it is the only backend that works on my intel computer with a optiplex gx270 hard drive. Do I need a backend that will actually work without the pixel shader problem and graphic colorblind problem? I can't open GcoS 1.5 even when I look up tutorials on how to get the game to run faster. I'm sad, because I have played Super Smash Bros 64 and Super Smash Bros Brawl, but I never played Melee. I have seen hundreds of videos literally about the game and I have the Melee fever because I need to play it so bad. I don't normally beg this much to fix the graphic problem, but with the graphic problem, I can't even get to a battle because I can't see anything, not the character icons, not even the cpu circle that you grab to put a cpu character. This is serious, and I need to play the game really bad.

PC specs: (I don't know much about complex pc specs so it isn't easy for me to explain)

Windows XP 32 bit

Intel computer

Optiplex GX270 hard drive

The reason why later 3.5 releases don't work because there is x86 and my computer doesn't support x86. It only works with x32. What is the latest dolphin build with the x32 download, not x86?

The SSBM title screen is completely black and white, I can't see the title logo or the press start button stuff.
Give us the exact specs of your computer. I have a assumption I guess...
Basically, it's looking like you have a really old PC with a crappy unsupported IGP. The only thing that needs to be "fixed" here is that you need to get some decent PC hardware.

Read below:

Quote:When creating new threads about dolphin, always provide a) your full PC specs (CPU, RAM, GPU, Operating System, ..) b) information about the Dolphin build used (version/revision, source, ..) c) Dolphin settings d) detailed description of what you're trying to do (e.g including the name of the game you tried to run and a screen shot of the issue if necessary). Ignoring this rule will get your thread closed and have you warned off.

Quote:I'd like to remind all new members to please not list your specs as:

CPU: Intel
GPU: Nvidia

I see more and more users who are joining doing this. That is not enough information on your hardware. We need something like "Intel i5-2500k" and "Nvidia GTX 580" or whatever the case may be. If you don't know what your hardware specifications are, find out. This is important and is going to have to be known one way or another.
