None of the x51s have unlocked processors. So the most demanding games with LLE are a no go on any of those x51 systems. Also you don't get a good graphics card on the x51 until you step up to the $1079 version.

Though I'm pretty sure the Western Digital Green drives are all ~5400 rpm. I'm too lazy to look right now. You'll also need another ~$100 for an Operating System unless you go Linux.

If you have one, then yes. You may be able to transfer the whole hard drive to the new PC if it's good enough for you.

Yep, most games will run @ fullspeed, if you overclock the i5-3570k.
why is overclocking necessary?
Because of LLE (mostly)
Some games only have proper sound with LLE enabled, and LLE is know for being very demanding
