No, this is not possible in the latest versions of Dolphin.

Ah, right, this game has had those bounding box (you don't need to know what this means
) issues recently if I remember correctly. That's why the game runs badly on recent versions.
Hm, I think it's possible to deactivate bounding box (and therefore the slowness) in the ini (configuration) file of Dolphin but I don't know exactly how to do that.
But I think using Ishiiruka you can just switch it off in the graphics settings menu, so you might want to try that.
The shader cache stuttering are those short stutters when something new (a new effect e.g.) is being drawn on the screen. Like I said, you won't have those with Ishiiruka, either.
Ishiiruka is just another version of Dolphin, an unofficial build 'enhanced' by one guy who works on it diligently. All you need to do is download it and unpack it into a new folder (it will even share the save game folders with the normal Dolphin version, so you don't have to worry about a thing). Just anpack it, start it, configure the settings again. Here, in the graphics settings menu, you can choose between OpenGL, DX9 and DX11. DX9 might be faster for your old PC, just try it out. And in the hacks department of the graphics menu, put the slider next to 'Bounding Box' to 'disabled' (left). That should do it.
PS: You can download Ishiiruka in the first post of that link I posted before. Just click on latest ... and download the newest of the three files there.
PPS: If you're still having sound issues then, you could also try the option 'Time Stretching' in the audio settings. (only in Ishiiruka)
Thanks mate i'll definitely check it out. I bought my PC out of the paper from a guy who works in IT and said he builds mid-level gaming PC's in his spare time from kits and sells them for abit of extra dough. He told me my PC is basically marginally better than an Xbox 360 in regards to hardware. Just out of curiosity would you agree with that? I wasn't looking for anything super-fancy and at $300 it's now all i use for my entire home entertainment centre and has served my needs great so far

I don't think i'll ever be going back to consoles again lol.
Well, he might be right with that, however, it's hard to compare consoles with PCs. And emulators cannot be compared with PC games. Often, people come here and say 'I can play Battlefield 45 in ultra settings, why doesn't shitty New Super Mario World Wii run at full speed??' But it just doesn't work that way. An emulator, after all, kind of calculates a whole console, not just the game itself. Also, some games have weird programming which cannot be emulated in a lightweight way, like those MMU games (Rogue Squadron, etc.). This is all oversimplified, of course, (plus I'm not a dev

), but you get the idea.
So, with that computer there's a lot of gamecube and wii games that you won't have full speed with. Overclocking the CPU would help (because Dolphin loves high clocks), but since you're a novice, I'm guessing that's not for you.
Anyway, try out Ishiiruka, might help, especially disabling Bounding Box.
Hey all, i actually commented on this very section awhile back because i had downloaded the latest version of Dolphin at the time, however when it came to both the Wii ports of Resident Evil (Resident Evil Archives : Resident Evil and Resident Evil Archives : Resident Evil 0) which i had and still do, the stuttering on both was so bad they were unplayable. I was told by some wise gal on here who knew alot about computers that was because of something i can't remember the name of (some technical sounding term) and it was exclusive just to the Resident Evil games and a few others.
Up until now i had been using a much older version of Dolphin to play them which worked fine except every now and then there'd be occasional static sounds for a few seconds. However lately not only have i been getting the static sounds but every now and then the game (both of them) would just freeze and an error message would actually come up which ended with saying something like "Dolphin will now likely just hang or crash" or something like that.
Out of frustration and because it had been awhile i decided to try the latest version of Dolphin (4.0-7180) and all my games work great (no more having to have 2 different versions of Dolphin) EXCEPT this one. It still runs fine in every way except in large areas of the game it goes like in slow motion.
As i said above i'm basically just a novice at PC's (i know basically just enough to get by but i'm a fast learner) Can one of you lovely people please tell me the best settings to select (like in the "Config", "Graphics", "Audio" tabs) if i list my system specs below that will give me the best possible experience playing this. Thanks.

Well, your CPU is very old and Dolphin needs a fast one so that's probably your issue.
Have you already tried Dolphin-Ishiiruka? I just wanna make sure you're not talking about stuttering... https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version
Ok, well i updated to 8gb's yesterday so should work atleast abit better now. As i said it worked just fine with the REALLY old version of Dolphin except for the occasional static for a few seconds here and there and this new thing is just that - new. Had used that version of Dolphin dozens of times before that started happening. I sent you a pvt message btw explaining in more detail. I know what i asked of you in there is a bit much but this really is like rocket science to me and i'm sure all is needed is just the right settings and this baby will work fine!!
By stuttering i just meant in game play (this particular game, none of the rest) it goes a little bit slow... like when the character is supposed to be moving you can see they're not moving at normal speed but a very-slightly slower speed. Cut scenes though still run perfectly. Would be extremely appreciative for your help
P.S. LMFAO, sorry about that, You just seemed abit feminine - in a nice way though

Well, here's something masculin for you: Ask your questions here in the thread, not in private messages
Unfortunately, those 8GB of RAM should not help you at all. Like has been said before: emulation is not pc gaming. The first and foremost thing an emulator needs is a strong CPU. If you don't have that, it doesn't matter if you have 64GB of RAM, it won't go any faster.

Ok then babe, i'll ask out here
Look no offense and this isn't a go at you but i've already had enough people tell me basically "Your PC is old, nah nah nah nah!!" lol. PLEASE can you just tell me what to select on all the tabs on "Config" and "Graphics" based on my specs which you think will give me the best experience possible with what i have? Sorry to keep asking but you seem smart and when it comes to PC's i'm like a 50 year old man who's only ever been laid twice in his life trying to be a porn star!! :O
Your settings are already set to the fastest options. Just two things: I don't know if that game needs EFB Access from CPU, so try skipping it. And you could try the overclocking feature, or rather underclocking. You have to put it somewhere BELOW 100%. Maybe try 70% or so.
If that doesn't help, you're basically f**ked with your nah nah machine.

Ok working good now, thanks hun

Just out of curiosity do you know when Dolphin 5.0 is coming out? Do you think it will be like really revolutionary and blow people away? Oh and what was that other emulator you mentioned before again? Think it had a Japanese name or something? Thanks for all your help
