Hi! I'm new on these forums, so I hope that I will not break any rules Smile
Anyways, I want to play Resident Evil 4 using Dolphin Emu, but the game locks FPS at 20. No Limiter.
On r6515, FPS raises up to 27-30... But this version is very oooooold Tongue
So, there is any action replay code that speed up the game? (Not performance, but the game speed...)
Your CPU is quite weak for Dolphin. The only way to significantly improve the FPS would be to get a better processor, and that usually means a whole new computer since your specs say you have a laptop.

You can try the settings for best speed here, but if that doesn't help, not much else you can do.
You can right click on the game in the game list and go to properties and check off "accurate VBeam emulation". I've found that RE games in particular benefit from this option.
But your CPU is too weak for RE games that are very demanding

My problem is the CPU, not the GPU. Anyways, thank you for all Big Grin

Hey all sorry for bumping but i need your help. I want to play Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 but my FPS is locked @ 25-26 even when two kamehameha collide its still @ 25. Game Speed runs @ 99%-100%. I've tried many revs. of Dolphin: 3.0-917, r6505, 3.5-367 both 32/64 bit... no change at all. Currently im using 3.5-336. My Settings for Dolphin:
D3D9.
Internal Resolution, 2x Navite (1280x1056)
Scaled EFB Copy and Per-Pixel Lighting Checked.
Ignore Format Changes: Texture
Accuracy: Middle
External Frame Buffer: Disable
Cache Display List / Disable Fog / Open Texture MP Decoder Checked.

The Question is, can i run this game at proper fps via changing setting or do i have to upgrade my CPU/GPU?

Sorry for bad english.

Regards,
1st - Use the settings for best speed (link in my signature)
2nd - Overclock your CPU.

1. I checked these settings but unfortunately the problem remains.

2. I think Overcloaking wont help here because i tried it on my friend PC with the same Dolphin Settings ( His CPU AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz, 125W, AM3 and 4GB RAM DDR2 ) and he has the same issue with FPS. Note that Mario Kart or Naruto works fine on my computer. Can anyone who owns the game check it out?
Your friend's CPU isn't that good either Tongue No wonder, that he get low FPS too. A little overclock would be great for the performance Wink

btw: RE games are pretty demanding, don't forget this.
