I don't enable PAL60 , that's it
More FPS (limit) make the game run slower . 25/50 FPS limit is better than 30/60 FPS
So some of you might say sth like : "I have a powerful PC XXX YYY , speed don't matter" whatever . I do care about speed atm until i can affort a monster laptop
What!? All this time I thought running games at 60Hz at 60 FPS was better!
Can someone confirm this first before I switch everything?
In an ideal world:
Games intended to run at 60FPS should run at 60FPS.
Games intended to run at 30FPS should run at 30FPS.
Games intended to run at 50FPS should run at 50FPS.
Games intended to run at 25FPS should run at 25FPS.
Games intended to run at 50FPS or 60FPS should run at 60FPS (if you've chosen this option in the config menu).
Games intended to run at 25FPS or 30FPS should run at 30FPS (if you've chosen this option in the config menu).
[EDIT: fixed uneven line breaks]
You don't need to switch everything . As I said earlier , More FPS = smoother gameplay (smoother != faster)
The only game I have 2 versions (NTSC-J , Pal ) is Xenoblade which is a demanding game . No matter what I do , I only get 20-25FPS ingame due to hardware limitation
If I use NTSC version , 20-25 will be no where close to fullspeed (30FPS limit) -> As a result , I get laggy audio , slowmotion
I think PAL version may help me get close to fullspeed without buying a whole new laptop -> this is the reason why I bought PAL version
And it turned out to be true , PAL version run well ! I even do video recording with Fraps
Btw , I tried Mario Galaxy - Pal at my friend place , it run better than my version - NTSC (Same as Xenoblade , my PC is not powerful enough to run this game fullspeed )
