i've done a good google for this problem and nothing is sorting it out.

im playing resident evil 4 ntsc and i've turned off fog and only get 2fps more on my slow downs

i have tried the settings that are stated on the wiki page yet still big slow downs when i get more textures on screen. i was getting slow downs on the fog and rain but with getting to the castle im getting more slow downs.

anyone got a fix i could try as anything that could work ill try.

intel i5 2500
250gb ssd sata 3
8gb ram 1333mhz
asus 7770 1gb

im running the game from iso on the ssd.
Try the settings for best (link in my sig) if you want better performance.
please read i stat in my first post i tried the settings on the wiki page
They're often not very up to date.
its the same as what's in that post there is nothing new
Well, then... if you have a Z77 MoBo from Asrock with "No-K Overclock" option, you could overclock your CPU.
this slow down is on most of the game and not due to not oc'ing

oc'ing is not needed for such old games and i can even play bf3 on high so don't think a old game like this would need oc'ing.
What speed do you get?
RE4 is a demanding game. At stock you can't expect a really good speed with your CPU
not good speed with my cpu dam what do you think people need 60 cores just to run a emulated game.

the game runs find till it gets to bigger texture parts like when it zooms out at the first part of the castle.

lags when there is rain and fog.

i did read on here this simple fix was fixed in 3.5 but does not look like it.

don't blame ram gpu or cpu as blaming them are just stupid
PC games is not emulator
