First of all, this is my first post so I may be lost as to where appropriate threads should be posted.

I'm using the 3.5 version and the game plays fine. I can save the state, but half the time the sound will just sustain and after less than a minute the game will freeze and pop up a window stating...

"DSI exception in stmw"
"DSI exception in imw"

Then it freezes.

I've tried using both xAudio2 and DSound with the same results.

Any ideas? I would appreciate the help!
Have you tried LLE audio?

LLE requires copywriter files I don't have that I can't get and are not included.

Game plays fine and audio works up until I load a save file.

Try to avoid savestates. You're likely to get such issues.

Also for this game try to set Framelimit to "Audio" (Config/General)

I did that, but didn't check Limit by FPS. Thanks. Maybe this will help. Guess I'll just start my new game and wait for the game to save on it's own.

This game makes you wait til you complete the first map.
