Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

Hi friends.

I have Dolphin 3.0-917 with the Wii Menu instaled and the Mii channel. Everything is working fine.

To update 3.0-xxx versions i only have to replace Dolphin.exe and I kept everything like before. My question is.. Doing the same will i update to 3.5 succesfully?

if its not that way.. How do i update to 3.5 without loosing Wii Menu, Mii channel, the settings and everything?

1st make an archive of your 3.0.917, the whole folder (just in case your not happy with 3.5)


then , I think you can just replace dolphin.exe,

in other way you can copy the User folder.

Replacing Dolphin.exe to "update" between versions works often, but is not recommended and unsupported. If you come across any issues with that we expect you to reproduce those issues with a clean Dolphin installation. Otherwise you're just wasting your and our time.

i just copy and replace everything then.....UPDATE
