There's no rush, take your time and make it nice. For what it's worth, I'd be interested in seeing it when you're done.
How big can these icons get? Can I make each 720x1280? I want more interface than game.

Several of the icons in the theme i posted before are about that big. There is no size limit.

Finally, an application that can utilize my dual monitors. Now I just need to quickly sort out a humongous mouse cursor in my Windows settings...

You'll probably need more than 2 monitors to use my theme. It's 7k pixels across

Nice, did you do the icons yourself?
edit: The gradients need to disappear!
Yes XD Started from scratch with MS Paint.
I just wanted to get rid of default theme because it isn't my thing and I happened to feel like drawing my own simple icons that goes well with Task Manager I tend to open when playing PC games or emulators on my HDTV.
If anyone interested, here it is
Download link to 1.0 removed
1.1 - Has legacy compatibility, so no worries.

Here's my latest experiment. Downloads in the first post.

That one actually looks pretty good. It actually has a theme (theme as in a consistent pattern) whereas your first "theme" seemed more like a bunch of random images thrown together. It also matches the colors (more specifically the luminance) used in the rest of the application more closely than Lucario's so my eyes don't feel like they're bleeding from trying to read text on a high contrast GUI.
