I just gave things a little analysis. My first thoughts were 1) the poster was confused or 2) the poster was responding to something previously mentioned (albeit without quotes). I just scanned a bit to see where "multiplayer" was discussed to get the context. This is getting into off-topic territory though.
altho the radeon 7970 is indeed a good card if you have a couple extra $ i would say go with the nvidia 680 i have had problems with AMD cards in the past
that where fixxed when i changed to nvidia cards of the same relative powers

altho in the end this post comes down to speculation and opinon i prefer nvidia over AMD
The 670 beats the 680 when you overclock it but for the price of it I wouldn't recommend either cards unless you are into a really good gaming rig. Once you switch to nvidia you will never go back
Then once you overclock the 680 it wins so it doesn't really matter XD
