Hi,
what does exactly mean VPS?
In some games I have 30 VPS and only about 15 FPS and the game is very slow...
Is my laptop too slow or what I can do?
Thanks in advance!

IIRC, VPS represents the amount of frame render requests the emulated CPU sends to the emulated GPU in Dolphin. FPS represents the amount of frames that are actually rendered.
It sounds like your game is a 30 FPS game running at half-speed. Dolphin displays a percentage that represents the game speed, and it's accurate in most cases (using the VBeam Trick creates a notable exception).
EDIT: nvm, can't read on my tiny iPod screen lol. Your hardware is way too low to adequately play Dolphin (specifically the CPU) at least for whatever game you're trying to play. Which game is it btw? Turbo boosting might help; try to keep your laptop as cool as possible when running Dolphin.
i7 720QM is too slow for most games . Turbo boost
2.8GHz (1 core)
2.4GHz (2 cores)
1.73GHz (3 or 4 cores)
Make sure your CPU is running at 2.4GHz (with Dolphin) . Use "Realtemp" to check CPU clock speed
1st gen i7 @ 2.4GHz might still be able to run a few "light" games full speed . You must tell us the name of the game you want to play
Thanks for your quick answers.
I tested with Realtemp and the highest CPU clock speed was at 2,593GHz while running dolphin. I have 4 cores btw. and always use "Lock Threads to cores" that give me better results.
I have problems when I play Mario &Sonic @London f.e. on single player I get mostly 30FPS/30VPS but when I play on Multiplayer it slows down to ~15FPS/30VPS
Im not sure if the laptop is the problem because I can also play it on 30FPS on single player...
Thanks for your help guys!

Ah, that means two of my cores are not in use when playing on dolphin?
Is there a tool that make it possible? It would be very help.

With LLE a third core will be used. But that's all you can do

With LLE a third core will be used. But that's all you can do
Config -> Audio -> DSP LLE on Thread
The correct setting?
I assume : Enable DSP LLE on Thread -> Dolphin use 1 more core -> 3 cores active -> Turbo Boost go down to 1.73GHz
"DSP LLE on thread" provide a small speedup . It's not like Dolphin use the third core at 100%

There is no such tool will make a game/a program use all cores unless the game/program itself support quad core and up
