Thanks, LordVador.

Just to clarify, I thought 3.5 is a improvement version of 3.0. Ideally, it should give better performance? or no?

I will definitely try out 3.0.
I think it is slower because of all the added stuff and fixes
sound is terrible in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Lots of static-y and distorted effects.
Use LLE

Exactly, I have that as well in Super mario bros. Sounds like audio distortion and random noise. It's hard to explain, but it happens once every 10 minutes. And if the game changed level or changed map, the noises go away to be normal again.
In New Super Mario Bros. Wii? Well, that's unusual. Which Dolphin revision do you use?

I am using the 3.5 release. The sound is like radio noise + random sound effects and skipping. It does happen on other games as well, I just happened to play super mario bros the most.
I have Q9550, 4gb ram, 560 TI GPU.
Did u try XAudio2 and a different sample rate? What about LLE?
To add information to this conundrum: I am getting the same thing here using LLE (I use LLE for every game) for 3.5. Games played that DID have it:
Baten Kaitos
Wind Waker
Kirby Return to Dreamland
Resident Evil 4
Mario Kart Wii

I cannot find a single game that does not have the audio issues.
For me it takes more like 2 hours or so to happen, but it does correct itself over time and then returns later. I tried both with and without LLE on thread and it did not make a difference. Not trying to hijack, just wanted to give a little more info since my problem may be related Smile

If I use 3.0, then the audio issues disappear.
