Hey there. I figured I would come here and ask you guys for some support, as this is a strange occurrence here. I've been able to play and sync my Wii Remote just fine before, but for a very strange reasons when I've been trying to do this the last few times it is able to sync and recognize the controller, but when it comes to booting up games, it simply does NOT recognize that the Wii Remote is even on. It's a very strange issue that I cannot really figure out on my own, so maybe you guys would be able to help me.

As you can clearly see from this snapshot I just took, the bluetooth dongle and the emulator actually recognize the Wii Remote, but any time I boot up ANY game that mandates that as a controller I continue to get messages about it not recognizing it. I've restarted my machine assuming that was it, as well as turning on/off the bluetooth dongle, but none of that is fixing it. Does anyone have any good idea on what could help me? The game I'm showing off is Wario Land: Shake It, a game that worked before with the remote. I don't think I've changed any settings at all that have caused it to not recognize it, so it must be a driver issue..?
I have the same issue.

GlovePie works great with the Wiimote.
I use dolphin, and about 1/2 the time the game will recognise it. And usually within 5 minutes it disconnects, but it is still connected to the computer.

I have heard that using LLE sound can make it work, but I tried that and it had no effect.
LLE was working wonderfully with the Wii Remote until recently...I have to assume it's a driver thing. Maybe someone can help me figure it out.

Some more Googling leads to a stack called bluesoeil. I am going to give it a shot.
or ToshibaStack
Avoid BlueSoleil like the plague.

Try enabling 'Alternate Wiimote Timings' in the game's properties. This can help fix an array of Wiimote problems.

It didn't help anyway.

I'll try that

OK, so the box is checked with a blue square. I click it and it clears to an empty box, click again and it becomes a check mark. Click again and it is a blue square. What is the difference between blue square and check mark?
Hello all,

I'm new here though i've been using Dolphin for a long time.
I have a 3rd party Wiimote I bought for my sister last year that wasn't working, so I've downloaded Dolphin code and made some little modification.

I would like anyone whose Wiimote is not working/disconnecting to try this build of mine of 3.5-108 x64 (just the .exe) --> http://depositfiles.com/files/bsacfjsbv

Tell me if it works! My lil sis' wiimote now works!
Thank you! :-)

Still doesn't work for me.

I have also read that the wiimotes with built in motion plus seem to work really well.
