I have been an AMD fan since 97-ish. Before that I would buy intel, though 97 was the end to intel for me. Here it is nearing 2013 and I'm back on intel's watch. Sandy/ivy has impressed me for far too long on the bench testes its time to switch back.

My name is ULAO and I'm an Intel owner.

Here is my toy, and I cant way to hit 4.7 with all of the dolphin goodness!

Product Name: i7-3820
Part Number: BX80619i73820

I also picked up the GA-Z77X-UD3H MOBO.

Sure hope this will help LLE sound.
You realise that CPU and mobo aren't compatible right?
Nope.com
Non k Intel Core i5 Ivy/Sandy can't overclock pass 4.3GHz
Edit : Oops , I mean i7 and i5
Extreme CPU's can :3
Yeah, i7-3970X Big Grin (15MB L3 Cache Big Grin)
I say no
But... all extreme mobile CPUs have an unlocked multiplier (i7-2920XM for example)
@ulao: What GPU will you associate to this baby?
@admin 89 you're thinking of Enthusiast not Extreme
I would go with Ivy i5 3570k or i7 3770k if i was him
Unless he want to kill his mobo and CPU ...4.7GHz is too much for that chip
Sandy Bridge E is slower (Dolphin)
Also , i7 3820 + Z79 , not Z77
