If you have time to cry about the devs hiding the certs from you, you have time to test patches. If you don't want to do it, then don't do it, but don't act like it's impossible to find time because you have a job now.

1. They don't have to write you a guide. That's not their responsibility.

This is a poorly thought out conspiracy theory at best. Why would they make a public branch if they didn't want anyone to know about it?

Because we want people to know about it, and laugh at them for not being able to use it, duh.

That sounds like the logic behind a lot of software. For example, at AMD:

"Hey, Dave, look what I added to catalyst today."

"What is it?"

"It's a hardware accelerated video converter. It offers many popular codecs, and runs pretty quickly."

"That's great. The customers will love this feature!"

"It gets better."

"How?"

"It doesn't work. As in, it converts videos to different codecs, but does it slightly incorrectly."

"We can laugh at all the people who convert a film for their iPod/iPhone/iPad, test it, and see it works fine on their PC, but after spending 20 minutes battling with iTunes to transfer it, it doesn't actually play on iOS."

We decided that wii-network is only going to be supported in the pro version of Dolphin.
