Hey people,

I bought this sensor bar from dealextreme a few weeks ago: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3643

It wasn't the same package, but seems like it's the same sensor bar so I didn't care. But now the sensor bar doesn't work, I put in four AAA batteries and when I press the power button, the red light goes on. But the LEDs on the left and right site of the sensor bar are completly off. Does I have to do anything else than put in the batteries and press the power button? Thanks for your help.

PS: I hope that anybody else in this forum has the sensor bar and maybe know how to solve my problem.

Try to make a photo with your digicam of the front when the sensorbar is on.

If you see Light Dots on the Picture everything is fine.

Thanks for the advice! I just tried playing Zelda TP with it, but it's truely a joke...-.- I have to hold the Wiimote 10cm in front of the sensor bar and even then it doesn't really work well. Don't buy it!

I got the same model, but i opened it and wired it up to 6V-Transformator.
It saves me a lot of money for batteries and it always has 100% of luminous

Is there a tut for that?

What would be a good Model to get?
To anyone who has a good Sensor Bar advice would be appreciated

did you even try the digital camera trick?

I don't know, but here is my little tutorial how i did it.
Find a 6 volt DC transformator, open the housing, find "+"-wire of the transformator and solder it to the a wire which leads to the batterie-"+"-pole inside of the sensorbar.
Do the same for the "-"-pole and you are good to go.
Make a short test with your camera before you solder it.
For a better look, you can drill a small cable-hole through one side of the housing.

Will that increase the sensor bar's LEDs? oO

in that website all wii things are oem or fake there not genuine
