Try Outlaw Golf or Swingerz Golf (on GC). These are funny games

Yet another vote for Xenoblade, nothing has even come close to this for a few years.
I must also mention I had a pretty fun time playing Saints Row 3 co-op.
The game isn't that good, but it is really fun mayhem :p
I also loved Guild Wars 2 for awhile, but got bored after putting a bit over 100 hours into it, still worth every penny.
I would also mention Eschalon Book I, although a few years old I played it this year.
Skyrim

Garteal disaproved of me saying Skyrim, saying more isn't always better. I've not played anything with a higher quality*quantity value, yet he's saying quantity isn't necessarily better.
Edit: My bad, should have read the OP.
TF2. My god why did I avoid this game for so long?
But it feels wrong to list a multiplayer game. As far as single player goes, hmmm, I haven't played much this year. I probably have to go with portal/portal 2.
Quote:portal/portal 2
They're both high on my list, but technically I did portal 2 last year, and portal 1 was no where near as good. With portal 2 there were several points where I thought I'd finished it, and it turned out I hadn't. With portal, however, I didn't know I'd finished it until it quit to the main menu. Plus, it gave me no advice about what to do with Lemons. How was I supposed to know I needed to make life take the lemons back, demand to see its manager, and burn its house down with the combustible lemons my engineers had made.
o yeah

, TF2 FTW

I played the demo of Nfs MW 2012, can't wait to get the full game

George is back!
What'd you play it on?
Unfortunately this hasnt been the best gaming year for me, being in my final year in the university i spent very little time at home where my console is and the only games i played were on my PC or few friends who brought consoles to school which means i missed alot of major titles this year.
I cant wait for February so i can make up for lost time.
