The only way you can have dx10 on XP is if you used the hacks on torrents to get it to work
that's not ture. Even if all dlls and such were installed in xp, how would the driver send dx10 calls? It wouldn't work.
lol yea...but it would be nice for the vista users...and if they could enable some kind of a hack within the plugin for XP users so it would work it would be pretty nice....

lol
I have dx11 but that doesnt really make a difference with dolphin...
even if you do have DX11 how do you kno cuz dolphin shouldnt be using it cuz its a different software that dolphin doesnt use yet...same with dx10 dolphin only uses dx9 and thats it for directX
How do i know how i have dx11? type dxdiag in run and it says... Tongue
No i believe you that you have it but the dolphin EMU doesnt utilize that graphics enhancer thing...direct X 9 and 10 are 2 completely different softwares. theyre not upgrades so im guessing its the same with 10 and 11...So this is why it doesnt make a difference. Dolphin emulator cant use it because there is no plugin that uses 10 or 11...
the reason why openGL and no DX

OpenGL its cross platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, Java) OpenGL its open source (like OpenAL for sound)

DirectX (its onley works on Windows) its Licensed

Conclusion: OpenGL wins: its free and more platforms can use it and more people too in other platforms

P.S. have a little patience to OpenGL give it time to the developers to develop a good cross-platform plugin
